The specs are fine. I’m talking about the Archos’s horrible d-pad and slider nubs that roughly brushed the surface of the device. The JXD also looks nicer and more comfortable to me, but that’s just my opinion.
Again, we are talking about the Archos Gamepad 2 which has been improved all the way: new buttons, including the D-pad, battery, screen etc.. And let’s face it: the JXD is not faultless either, so yes, there’s definitally a match up between these two devices.
I just hope that Archos learned from the previous disaster called the Gamepad (one), but I think the several complaints have been heard this time.
JXD S7800, no challenge. The JXD S7300 completely wiped the floor with the (badly designed) Archos GP, and since JXD have finally gotten real analogs correct, I’m pretty sure the S7800 is going to chokeslam the GP2 through the whole competition.

The JXD S5800 had been officially launched!

I’ll be ordering one of these as soon as my Vita sells – gonna do a full video review of it, can’t wait to see how it turns out.

maybe they wanted to make sure all of them work ?
Seems like JXD really took their time with this one. I’m looking forward to an in depth review.
this looks great, now for a proper match up…archos gamepad 2 vs jxd s7800b

Archos claims to have fixed all the problems with the original. These two are closer in specs than the last gen.
